Australia's Gain

It really pains me to announce this but we are soon to loose Mia as she will be jetting off to Australia in a couple of weeks!

Mia is one of longest standing members of staff and has been here through the highs and lows of HHS.  She is loved by everyone, she's hard working, loyal, honest and she'll be really missed by both clients, staff and also truly missed by the Harrison's, as she is like part of the family!

Mia is 24years old on Monday and all of us from the salon are going to London to celebrate her birthday with her and give her a good send off before she leaves us, plus we might go to the L'Oreal Colour Trophy awards if we can fit it in!!

Our loss is most definitely Australia's gain!

In it to win it!

9 days to go until the biggest hairdressing competition in the world!  The L'Oreal Colour Trophy is the equivalent to the Oscars in the hairdressing world!

Harrison Hair Studio is the 1st Liverpool Salon to get to national final in the main award for over 10 years!  We will be representing the northwest along with 3 other salons with a 1 in 4 chance being named the overall northwest champion.  The overall NW champion will then have a 1 in 9 chance of becoming the National Champion!

The standard this year is so high we feel overwhelmed just getting to the national final but we will be giving it our all and we want to repay all the support from our clients, friends & family with a win!

Liverpool's best hair salon team at the North West L'Oreal Colour Trophy Awards 2016

5 weeks today until the worlds biggest hairdressing competition and #hhsliverpool's biggest accomplishment to date, the National L'Oreal Colour Trophy Grand Final 2016!

We will be there after winning the North West regional final and we will be taking the whole team down to London's Intercontinental O2 Hotel where this years grand final will be held. As we will be staying over this means the salon will be closed Monday 13th June & Tuesday 14th June (2 days), opening again Wednesday 15th June, 9am.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Local salon wins a place in the L’Oreal Colour Trophy Grand Final 2016

 

Harrison Hair Studio from Liverpool is celebrating today after winning one of only 4 coveted places in the North Western regional heat of the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Awards 2016. The team, led by Tanya Harrison fought off strong competition and wowed a panel of high-profile award winning judges with their Autumn/Winter 2016/17 fashion inspired look.  The team will now have the chance to compete at the L'Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final event which could see them winning the overall award.

Across 3 weeks in April, the L’Oréal Colour Trophy regional heats have hit 9 regions rubbing shoulders with some of the industry’s talented salons. Now, after 1000 initial entries and 540 regional finalists later,Harrison Hair Studio is one of just 36 nationwide salons who will now compete to win The L'Oréal Colour Trophy Award (Women’s Image).

On Monday 13th June, 2016 the team will have to complete one final challenge to win the prestigious award as they compete against the winners from the other regions for the top title. The Grand Final show promises a thrilling and inspirational evening featuring spectacular hair shows by some of the industry’s most illustrious names in hairdressingfollowed by a 5 course dinner and the awards presentation.

The overall winners from the competition will be awarded a once-in-a-lifetime prize package which includes a 3 day European trip with a photo shoot to showcase their winning look, a fashion shoot with a leading consumer glossy magazine and a comprehensive personalised plan to promote the salons win PLUS endless PR opportunities throughout their winning year!
