L'Oreal Colour Trophy Grand Final 2014

Faye, Tanya & Mia making the most of their night out in London! #LCT14

After not being to London for the Grand Final of the LCT for 8 years myself, it was nice to be back.  This time it was not for my own achievements but for those of our very own Mia!  Mia was representing Harrison Hair Studio and flying the flag for Liverpool in the LCT Young Colourist Award.

It was great to return to London for the awards but sadly it was not to be our night, with the winner of the award going to a very strong young colourist from Reuben Wood hair & beauty, Manchester.  Mia who turned 21 years old just a couple of weeks ago can be very proud of successfully reaching the final in London for being in the top 5 young colourists in the Northwest and the top 35 in the whole of the UK.  If you think about it like that you can see how well she has done!

Now that she’s been to the grand final in London, hopefully this will give her the appetite to return next year and push herself to be the best.  If so, we can then go for one or two cocktails and a good old dance again (not that we did that this year, honest)!

Mia Daly will now take part in the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Young Colourist Award final at the L’Oréal Professionnel International Academy in [location] on the [location]. The winners will now be put to the test, completing a number of demanding colouring techniques in only 2 hours 45 minutes.
