£1211.75 Raised for Liver Foundation🌟

Thanks to all our amazing clients and friends, our 10 Year Anniversary charity night and 10 Years Younger makeover was a massive success
Barbara Rouse was overwhelmed by the whole 10 years younger makeover experience, which was timed perfectly as Barbara has just celebrated her birthday and said it the best birthday present she’s ever had! There wasn’t a dry eye at the event whilst Barbara told us how much it meant to her to get recognition for all the voluntary work she has done over the years in the Bootle community, the place she loves!
Pete Reynolds also gave an inspiring speech about his battle to regain his health after his liver transplant and how it wasn’t an option not to give something back.  It was the day after surgery whilst he was in his hospital bed that he came up with idea to do a series of challenges over a 12 month period, including at least 6 mammoth cycles and the Lake Windermere Great North swim.  He Joked of still being delusional on the drugs from the operation but he stuck to his promise and after months of serious training whist battling with his health he has already cycled two challenges, the 100 mile Birmingham Velo and the 60 mile Manchester to Blackpool midnight cycle.  His next challenge is going to be a 140 mile coast to coast cycle in February, from Whitehaven in the Lake District going to Sunderland in the North East.  A full list of Pete’s challengers sponsored by Harrison Hair Studio can be found on his website www.teamreynolds.co.uk
We had a count yesterday after the event and we managed to raise £1211.75 which we are ecstatic about as we where aiming for £500 but everyone in the local community came together to show their support for Barbara and Pete, and we smashed it!
All of this wouldn’t of been possible without the hard work from all our staff and with the help from our friends Liz Ellis Cosmetics (Huyton), Louise Welsh Makeup (Maghull), Marks & Spencer’s (Aintree) and our very own Tanya who did amazing work with Barbara for the 10 years younger makeover.  Plus all the donations and amazing raffle prizes from L’Oreal Pro UK, Azure Dental (Formby), Grosvenor Digitat (Bootle), L20 Restaurant (Bootle), HHS Luxury Travel (Bootle), GHD UK and Pioneer Fitness (Bootle) who were all so generous. We had amazing live music from Ted Russet who’s a music student at LIPA, also wonderful food and drink from Harrison’s Tea Room.

British Style Collective by the Clothes Show

Always at the forefront of fashion, the Harrison Hair Studio Team are partnering up with L’Oréal and Barbara Daley Hair at one of the world’s leading fashion events as it comes to Liverpool for the first time – British Style Collective presented by the Clothes Show.

Continuing to define hair trends season after season, the Harrison Hair Studio Team consistently raise the bar when it comes to industry standards, always creating fashion-forward hair, inspiring beauty buffs nationwide, earning the reputation as a leader in the hair industry. With several shows confirmed for July’s British Style Collective at St Georges Hall, this season is set to be one of Harrison Hair Studio’s busiest, supporting a vast array of talented and diverse designers, including Philip Armstrong, David Ferreira, Sorapol and Edeline Lee, leaving no doubt about Harrison Hair Studio’s commitment to fashion’s finest.

Always with their fingers on the fashion-pulse, the Harrison Hair Studio Team will be exclusively revealing backstage news and gossip as it happens, and giving insights about hair trends for Autumn/Winter 2017 via social media @HHSLiverpool and #HHSLiverpool.

The event, which was previously held in Birmingham, will be coming to Liverpool for the first time this year and is being spread across four of Liverpool’s iconic buildings.

Visitors can expect a immersive shopping experience as River Island, Oasis, Elemis, Monsoon and Accessorize will join a line-up of more than 300 high-street, online and boutique brands in Exhibition Centre Liverpool.

Additionally, the city’s hit music station Capital Liverpool will host two performances of the iconic Alcatel Fashion Arena each day at the Echo Arena.

If you’re a lover of all things designer, you are encouraged to head to St George’s Hall, where you can shop must-have designer collections, witness creative hair from Harrison Hair Studio in the designer catwalk shows from London based designer Sorapol and Liverpool’s very own Philip Armstrong, and enjoy intimate ‘audiences with’ some of the most recognised names of the fashion and beauty industry.

The arena will also showcase the hottest looks on the high-street this summer in a dedicated trends report brought to you by Liverpool ONE, where you can then shop the looks straight from the catwalk.

Furthermore, guests are also welcomed to celebrate the very best in vintage fashion at Albert Dock, featuring fiercely independent designer makers, street food vendors, vintage traders and performers.

Experts on hand include Hilary Alexander OBE, Antonia O’Brien and Glamour magazine’s editor Jo Elvin.

Lastly, guests also have the opportunity to attend a pop-up event taking over the Baltic Triangle on Friday July 7, to visit the Creative Hub to take part in interactive workshops for students, as well as unveil the next generation of ‘ones to watch’ in fashion design, photography, journalism, art and film.
